Horsham Bedding Centre's free local recycling service is free of charge to all addresses listed on this page. Traditionally all types of old furniture have gone to landfill providing many waste management challenges.

• Mattresses can take over 10 years to decompose
• A double mattress takes up 23 cubic feet of landfill space and does not compact well
• Springs can get tangled in compacting machinery
• Divans can also create dangerous voids

If you are buying a new bed or mattress at Jones & Tomlin and are in our local delivery area; we will recycle your old bed or mattress without charge*. Providing not only a zero landfill solution, but also a source of recycled raw materials and fuel for other industries:

• Carpet underlay and acoustic insulation from reconstituted foam
• Horse blankets / automotive felt from fibre padding
• Metal products from the springs
• Planters, garden furniture and window boxes from bed bases
• Kindling and woodchip from headboards
