Since 1901 VI-Spring have been at the forefront of quality. They have held a place on our showroom floor at Horsham Bedding Centre since the doors opened over 25 years ago.
Initiated by an English engineer James Marshall, he developed the use of pocket spring to offer immense comfort along with unparalleled support along with using the best quality upholstery.
The "VI" in Vi-spring comes from the Roman numeral for 6 relating to the revolutionary six turns in in the pocket spring used within their beds. Using Vanadium steel springs Vi-springs craftsmen hand nest them into a honeycomb pattern which enhances the support system they can offer. Not only do these offer the support the customer is after but the life time to go along with it.
Large amounts of upholstery is used to create a superior level of comfort that a customer would expect from a Vi-spring bed. Such things as wool, cotton, horsehair amongst other fillings are used to create combinations of unique comfort, allowing the customer to select which model they choose within the Vi-Spring range to suit them.
Offering a life time guarantee part of the final stages of manufacturing a Vi-Spring mattress is a method called hand side stitching. This is used to ensure the edges of the mattress are fully supported and will with stand time. This is a very labor intensive, highly skilled process which is used by Vi-Spring but is easily the single most effective way to reinforce the edges of Vi-Springs mattresses, hence their confidence in offering consumers the life time guarantee.
To finish all this off, Vi-spring make fully pocket sprung divan bases which are built in the same way standard to compliment A Vi-spring mattress. Allowing extra comfort and life time to be provided it is certainly something not to be overlooked.
|As fillings go, wool is one of the most important products used throughout the range. Each filling has its own attributes of which are important but with Vi-spring we at Horsham Bedding Centre know the benefits this filling provides. This is proved by half of the range we choose to display includes their wool only beds. Wool has balanced thermal insulation properties, meaning it is warm in Winter and cool in the Summer. It also is hypoallergenic and resistant to bacteria, mould and mildew, that can trigger allergic reactions in many people. To top all that off it is naturally flame resistant, wool is difficult to ignite, has low flame spread and heat release properties; it does not melt and has superior self-extinguishing qualities.||
